Construction Management Institute established by Council of Ministers Regulation No. 691/2010 states the objectives of the institute as to ensure effective implementation of the country’s short and long term construction programs and projects in terms of time finance and quality through building project management capacity of key actors of construction project implementers and thereby sustain the ongoing rapid development of the country. For over a decade the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has invested heavily in the expansion and improvement of the construction services delivery and in modernization of the construction sector. The Government has been working hard on creation and management of physical infrastructure (asset) in construction sector. Information is a key tool for the construction industry development; information communication technology infrastructure is needed for successful implementation of the objectives of the institute. One of the infrastructure needed is the development of a website, which the institute wishes to procure to gather and distribute information to the participants and stakeholders of the construction industry.
